SheetMetal - Flange Creation fails with UNDEFINED ERROR

As shown in the screencast, I get the message "UNDEFINED ERROR".

The Message "UNDEFINED ERROR" does not help a lot.

I don't have a clue what is wrong.
Can you please improve that error message?

Hi @Anonymous,

thanks for posting and sharing the screencast!

Would you be able to send me a link to the design? I would like to test it to figure out why the flange creation is failing.

If you do not want to post it here, you can send it to me in a private message. Thanks!

I was able to get this hybrid modeling technique to work.

Thank, that looks good!

It generates a nice flat panel 🙂

Where do I find that extrude(?) command you used? Is it the regular extrude? If yes, how do I select single lines instead of a closed contour?

In the Surface Modeling tools.

Your entire part could have been simplified a bit, but I just used what you presented.

Here's another way creating 4 flanges then combine.
