Editing BOM?

I finally transferred from personal storage to a team hub to be able to use the new BOM feature, but have not been able to figure out how to actually input data for line items. Links, description, etc. How is this information supposed to be added?

The Bill of Materials gets its information from the model.  Most of it is entered using the Properties panel for each component.  Some of it comes from the component count used in the assembly.  This command is mainly used to report the Bill of Materials to an external file or share as a link to someone outside your design.

OK, I see. I'll also add for others who find this post that currently the BOM tool does not update until the model is saved, despite a component's properties having been edited.

I'm looking forward to this tool maturing, I definitely hope to utilize it to its fullest.
