This Advanced Print View is a mess in this Software. In all other elements, Workspaces configuration, fields definition, scripting, the system is more or less easy depending of the knowledge but this Advanced Print View is a nightmare even if a have html knowledge: This is not following the latest HMTL 5 features, Predefined styles are used even when trying to draw simple tables, Merge / Umerged of columns, rows is not simple, Same not simple to define the cells lines, background The apv definition on the left is using third of the available space. I think what most of the user wants, is the ability to draw tables and define the styles like in Ms Word, simply and easily without being oblige to open this "Source Code" part. After, you, as Autodesk Software Provider, has to do the necessary actions to transform our owns tables formats to something readable by any browser. This is not the job of your customers and we cannot lose lot of time because the system is not well designed! This is not probably important for you but we have also our internal customers and they have to follow some standard formats for their final customers.    So, If you can take the opportunity of the current softwares mergin, it will be welcome.   Show More

I would like the ability to export print views to PDF through scripting. This is needed in order to be able to harness the power of the advanced print views, as often an PDF output is required by the end-user (customer, supplier, etc.). Where there are many items with print views to be collected, too much time is used to manually print/export each print view to PDF. If we could automate this through scripting, we would save a lot of time. The PDF could then through the script be uploaded to an target item, and/or be available to send via e-mail.
