Modern UI: Cloud PDM should respect FLC permissions

It would be ideal if the permissions in CLOUD PDM where in sync with the FLC Permissions, along with Sub-folders having permissions at the same level as top level folder (or Projects).   For example, if you don't have permissions to see records owned by others, and one of those records has an attachment, you should not be able to go on Cloud PDM and see the file. Modern UI: Cloud PDM Attachments should contain/display link to FLC Items

Hello, as we are deploying the Modern UI, we have found a big problem since the Cloud PDM files/attachments have no relationship to FLC items. It would be ideal that there is a relationship established so that if you are to delete a file, the system tells you that there is a linkage, this will prevent room for error and also facilitate the management of attachments. Modern UI: Ability to define Viewers and Editors in Sub-Folders in Cloud PDM

Currently in Modern UI, you have to use the Cloud PDM, and the Projects (i.e. top level folders) are the only area where you can restrict access to Viewers vs Editors). It would be ideal that the Sub-Folders have these settings too to define who can View or Edit a document. Show More

Modern UI: CPDM Owner of a file should be updated based on the version

Currently in CPDM in FLC, if you have a file uploaded, the Owner is the name of whoever uploaded it. The problem is that when someone 'Uploads a New Version' the system does not update the Owner based on who is posting it. The problem with this, is that we had a contractor helping us migrate documents, now all documents are tagged with her name. As we are moving through revisions, the Owner is still the name of someone who is not applicable, and it cannot be updated. Thus, either the capability to Change the Owner in CPDM is made available OR the Owner is the person who uploads the new revision. A 'Last Updated By' field does not serve the purpose, because this is not the same as Owning a file and being responsible for it. Show More
