Fusion Manage is a powerful product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, but its accessibility is currently limited to web-based usage. To enhance usability and productivity, I propose that the Fusion Manage product team develop a dedicated mobile app for iPhone and iPad (iOS). A Fusion Manage mobile app would provide several key benefits: On-the-Go Access: Users can review, approve, and manage workflows from their iPhone or iPad, ensuring productivity anytime, anywhere. Improved Collaboration: Push notifications for approvals, change requests, and tasks would enable faster response times. Optimized for iPad: A larger screen experience would make it easier to interact with complex workflows, dashboards, and reports. Offline Mode: Allow users to review project details and tasks even when working in areas with limited connectivity. Touch & Apple Pencil Support: Improve document markup and annotations for reviews and approvals directly on iPad. A native iOS app would provide a seamless, modern experience for engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, making Fusion Manage more accessible and effective.

A new functionality in F360M is released on August 14th, 2023. Working version of revision-controlled items can now be reverted to match the latest revision. This is available for unlocked items, this means, Working Version will be reverted. This is a useful feature when many changes have been made and they are not needed and all changes must be set on the origin value. This means, that there is no need to compare or check the change log nesessary. The big issue is. That any user can do this functionality. That is dangerous. There needs to be a way to set and control it. In Revert Workflow action, it is solved with permissions. If you have not the permission to do it, the function is not available and it can not be done by the user. Many user will test, what happen with the new function. So they will test it or will trigger it without consciously wanting to do it. That any user can revert Workflow, is a big trouble. Permissions are needed for a better collaboration between different users.

Do you know how many characters left? In the Field «Single Line Text» and «Paragraph» can be the maximum length of value be set. The characters must be limited, especially when it goes to other systems. In Paragraph, when you add your information you don't know how many characters you have used. As example, if it is limited to 1000 characters, it would be very helpful to have a counter that display the length of your actual text. If you have used up the maximum of characters while writing, it would be helpful to know this in advance. How it could be solved is shown in the pictrue.

In a Workspace, whenever you have more than one section, it would be helpful to have a number for orientation. As a User, you can see the desciption and a number. You know, if you talk with another person, we have to change "XXZ" in Section Nr. 5 - Autodesk. Especially when there are several sections, which may not always be immediately distinguishable from the description. It is not always that simple as in this example. As it looks like for the Administrator. No section number are added behind the description. This can make it more difficult to find the correct section, in which adjustments must be made. It would help to imporve the user-friendliness.

For using an Escalation you can perform, execute a transition and then the transition. In this case, the transition "Release" will be triggered after one work day. For some automatically performed Items, the timing is inappropriate. To perfom it on a specific time would be better. To improve the adjust settings, would help to use them more often. An other way would be, to have an item with date and time, and the escalation would be triggered for this specific time. Only select days, is inaccurate. You never know, when it will happen.

If you want to find some specific Items, you can go to the Item Descriptor (as example) and with different types of filters, you can edit conditions for the filter. Firstli, you define the behaviour and then as a free text, the search condition. However, if you put a typing error, it has a direct impact on the search results. A helpful and easy way would be to have a drop down list, filled from the data. As is in Excel, that is a smart and easy filter for quick filter results. In Excel you can use for filtering data as drop down, or you have the posability in a search field, to put text as a plain text. All that does not match, will be filtered out. Then you can confirm it. As soon as it is confirmed, you get a filtered list. A similar behaviour would be a great improvement. It would enhance the usability from F360M Filters are very often used and in every Workspace it is different. Type of search results are always different. When the user is guided, this helps to increase the usability and reduces frustration.

For the access with API wie can create a Client ID and clientSecret. With this we can identify, if we are allowed to have access to the Tenant. The clientID has to put in the Security from the Tenant. However, we have no note field for the clientID. At the moment, the list is getting longer and longer. We don't know, if the clientID is used anymore. Who is the owner? When was it used the last time? If the list contains no longer used clientID, that is a potential risk. We need a field for adding information. At the moment, we can delete all clientID and then we have to wait, when and who screams, because it is no longer working. However, this is not a sensible practice and will create extra work and interruptions on the customers side.

If you want to search something, as emxample an aritcle, you must first click on the small magnifying glass. Then you can enter the content you want search. If you use it very often, it would be helpful, if the search field is always available without clicking first on the magnifying glass. Perhaps, it has an impact in performance. In case of that, is it possible to set a ckeck mark in the personal settings, if you want to use this functionallity or not. This could be a small user enhancement.

Idea: Autodesk should provide an out-of-the-box plug-in and mapping between Vault and Fusion 360 Manage. Specially in regards with bidirectional link to sync data (BOM, DWF, Metadata, Revisions).

In the properties, you can edit the volume mass. For the same volume, the weight is different if it is made out of steel, aluminium, copper or any other materials you can work with. Now it is possible to Edit a negativ mass weigth. If you create a negative mass it will not be corected. The CAD will then calculates with the total values of an assembly. The sum will decrease. This is a source for failer. For the Users, when they edit properties, no negative values are allowed in the input field of the mass.
