Currently on the attachment page, the download button only appears when you hover over the attachment in question. I would like to see this either be visible all the time or an option to make it so that you can make it visible all the time. I have seen some confusion when immediately looking at the attachment tab you can't immediately see that you can download anything.

The file types should only be visible to certain groups. For example: The "Viewer" group can only see PDF files The "3D Manufacturing" group can see PDF, STEP and DXF files The "2D Manufacturing" group can see PDF and DXF files. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Die Dateitypen sollen gewissen Gruppen nur sichtbar sein. Zum Beispiel: Gruppe "Viewer" darf nur PDF- Dateien sehen Gruppe "3D-Fertigung" darf PDF, STEP und DXF Dateien sehen Gruppe "2D-Fertigung" darf PDF und DXF Dateien sehen.

In the Attachments tab, files can be managed. Almost all can be attached. If a user is selecting an attachment, it will be shown in the viewer. This is very practical, because no files need to be downloaded. Select the file and see what it is. 2D and also 3D formats. However, no all of Autodesk products are supportet. The IFC model format must be translated before viewing with APS Viewer. In case of that, Fusion Manage does not support viewing IFC files. It would be a great plus, if All Autodesk products eg .ifc Files are supportet and can be opened with the viewer.

Hello, Currently it's possible to view ACC and BIM files with the Autodesk Viewer using a 2-legged token, but this does not work for attachment files from Fusion 360 Manage. When trying to use a two-legged token in the viewer for a F360M attachment, the response is HTTP 401 (Unauthorized) for all derivatives requests. We'd like to be able to use a 2-legged token for this, are there any plans to support this? Best regards, Conny

Many times we are in the situation, that databooks from the E Tools can't be uploaded to the PLM, since the size does exceed the limit of 1GB. Therefore we request to increase the limit for attachements to 2GB. If this is not the case we can't follow the processes, since our sub supplier do only work with the PLM and we can't ensure they have access to the needed databooks in order to perform the analysis. It is possible with 7-Zip to create packages to upload, but this is not so user friendly. Because you have to unzipp the files after every download.

We have created an add-in for Microsoft Office Word and Excel to be able to check in/out files to Fusion 360 Manage directly from Word/Excel. We can also search for items/files from the add-in. We are looking at improving the workflow and are discussing ways of finding where the file is coming from if a user downloads the file directly from F360M instead of check-out from the Office application. It would be great if it was possible to read from some property on the downloaded file which item the file is attached to. So our idea: When a user uploads or downloads files (attachments) to Fusion 360 Manage, F360M should give the file a property containing dmsID, URN, URL, or item descriptor - or any other property making it possible to find the specific item via the API. Example: dmsID written to Details -> Code

Hi, It would be a really good improvement and save us a lot of time if it where possible to get a large preview of image files when hoovering over the thumbnail and/or filename in the attachments tab. Since FLC already creates a thumbnail really quick, it should be possible to create a "bigger thumbnail" for preview reasons. This would save us a lot of time when trying to find and view the right image. As a side note, if possible - it would be really awesome to get the same preview functionality on all kinds of files - e.g. a PDF where the preview shows the front page.

We absolutely need the ability for users to be able to add file attachments in any record state (locked or unlocked) when pre-conditions are met. Please add the following functionality. This is a big gap in how FLC works without being able to add attachments during the process duration.

It would be great if we could rearrange attachments to folders after upload. There are cases where you believe it is only one attachment, but after a while there are multiple attachment - and then you would like to "clean" it up by putting the different attachments in folders.

I'm missing support to add/upload attachments through scripts. A use case for this could be to gather attachments from several items in several different workspaces, and collect them all into the attachments of a single item. (related attachments functionality does not currently work for us, as it is limited in what referenced items that are included). This to ease bulk download of attachements, without having to go to several items. A different use case would be to add/upload files created within Fusion 360 Manage itself as attachments, like excel exports of BOM's, PDF of Print Views, etc. Also I'm missing support for creating an attachment folder hierachy through scripting. Say you want to always have a default folder structure for your items attachments, and you don't want to create them manually every time...
