Learn how to launch Fusion directly to the Electronics Workspace

Hi,
I want to thank you all for your participation in the Fusion electronics forums. Your constant participation is appreciated. I wanted to give you some good news; many contacted us requesting the possibility of launching Fusion  directly to the electronics workspace. This is now possible in this latest update, from preference settings change the Default Document Preference to Electronics Design. From now on every time you launch Fusion, it will start directly on the electronics workspace.

Here is a short video:

Again, Thank You for your participation.

With Warm Regards,

Edwin

My Fusion360 starts directly in Electronic Workspace and that's a great imo, but unlike starting in 3D Workspace and opening an Electronics Projekt, the unnamed document, which opens at startup, won't close like I'm used to.

After opeining my Electronics Project, I have to manually close the unnamed electronic design file.

Hi @lars.jepkens

I hope you are doing well!

Today we release Fusion V2.0.20754 and now this issue should be fixed now.

The untitled electronics design file will be closed automatically when you open your own electronics project.

Please have a try, thanks!

Regards,

Panpan Fan
