How does one create a 3D package from scratch (without the use of 3D package generator)?

I have built a model of an end-launch SMA connector (a really nice one).

I used the Create New Package under the library manager.

Modeld it just like I would any other model in MCAD.

When I click FINISH under PACKAGE 3D i get a warning:

Package can not be finished without a footprint.

I have no idea how to define the footprints.

Hello @j.sokolowski ,

If you create a 3D pacakge from scratch, the recommended workflow is to open your electronics library document (or create a new one) first, then right click the footprint you want to add the 3d package and select "Create Package From Footprint". After that, you can just work as you used to do to create your 3d model.

If you have created a 3d model, you can just insert your 3d model into the 3d package document.

The other way to user your existing Fusion document is go to library.io and upload your model there.
