taking SVG files as sketches, scaling them and making them components and then trying to make a rectangular pattern

The Video is pretty self explanatory.... trying to take a component and making a  rectangular pattern for a template that will attach to another component eventually.... but getting stuck on the Pattern tool not working after selecting axis (s). not way to click OK and all the options for spacing not showing up either?

Hi @patrick_william

Thanks for posting the video. Since you are working in a component file, you can't pattern the component. If this component was in an assembly file, then you could pattern the component.

In the current file, do the following.

  1. Start the Rectangular Pattern tool.
  2. In the Rectangular Pattern dialog, change the Object Type to Bodies
  3. In the canvas or in the browser, select the body.
  4. Select the axis and enter the values.

Hope this helps.
