Use a file from Fusion's Data Panel as a decal?

I am new to Fusion 360 but have used other CAD software for many years. I recently came across an issue while I was designing a part. as I understand it, you can upload any information to Fusion 360's Data Panel which relates to your part/ product (nice). While working on the part I created a folder to store all of the graphics relating to its design.
You may be able to see where this is headed. Why is there no way to use the .jpg, .png, etc. files stored in Fusion's Data Panel from within the software? when you go to add a decal or an attached canvas, you are prompted to load a graphic from your local computer. Is there any way to use a graphic stored in the Data Panel? I do not want to keep data related to one project in different locations. especially if the graphics to be used were uploaded by another user. would you need to open the web portal to download the image only to link it back to the model?
Again, I am new to Fusion and am not sure if there is a different way to do this?
