UNable to launch Screencast ... can't launch from Fusion, crashes on startup

Hi, i have a problem which i wanted to document via screencast so i can post the question on the forums. Clicking on the Record button in Fusion does nothing so i tried to launch Screencast from the Applications folder but the application won't launch and i get an error dialog saying the application quit unexpectedly. Deleted prefs from Application support, trashed the app (v2.3) redownloaded the app (still at v2.3) but still quiting/crashing on launch.

what's going on ? how can i get this to work ? it used to work at some point ...

Hi,

Sorry to hear of your trouble.

Is the version of Fusion 360 downloaded from the Apple Store? Or from Autodesk.com?

Also, can you send the url where you are downloading Screencast from? I want to ensure I am using the same products from the same location as you to see if I can reproduce the issue.

Thanks for your patience.

yes Fusion downloaded from Autodesk but that was a long time ago and there have been gazillion updates since, and screencast as well: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast
