Hello! Please help me solve my puzzle...
- When I create a plane at an angle on any edge, and select this plane to start working with a sketch on it - the camera is thrown far back from the selected edge, to the center point from which the model originates.
Before coming to the forum, I watched, probably, all the lessons on YouTube on the topic of inclined planes. And repeating all the actions exactly like the guys - I could not achieve the same result.
As far as I understand: in the usual case, the camera together with the selected edge should move to the Origin point, or: - the Origin point should be magnetized directly to the edge, to its center.
Below is a recording of my screen. Please take a look...
I will also attach a couple of screenshots as an example of how it should be.
Hi,
First you must project the body profile onto the sketch. To do this, select Project/Intersect
Then position the sketch elements on this projection.

This method you showed is very interesting.
Thanks for the demonstration, but I still meant something else.
Please watch this short video clip to understand.
Here... - for some reason I can't do the same. Although I repeat the steps exactly.
After creating a new object: no matter... be it a cube/rectangle/something with an edge - I can't project a plane at an angle onto the edge in such a way that I can work with the sketch on this plane.
The camera always returns to the origin... And the edge remains somewhere to the side, it is impossible to snap to it.
Hallo,
1. what should be created in the end?
2. what relationship/position should the new element have to the existing body?
Show in an illustrated screenshot what you intend to do and share the file.
