I've recently lost my HDD and had to reinstall windows and all my programs, came across this issue, anyway to fix this?
I've downloaded the most recent add-ins but still no luck, uninstalled and reinstalled fusion but still the same issue.
I'm not familiar with that addin specifically. But that error looks to be specific to the importlib library. And I would suspect that any recent change in behavior is due to the Python version change, changing the behavior of this library. You can try adding 'from importlib import util' after the 'import importlib' line in that FillGaps.py file.

I'm the author of the add-in. Please contact me at info@maciejrogowski.com. The error is caused by errors in the October Fusion update. Also other developers reported that there are errors in the October update:
latest update for october 2020 broken plugins
all my plugins now don't work with newest update october 2020
I'm sorry, it looks like it is my error, but it didn't appear with the previous versions of Fusion. KrisKaplan thank you for your help.
I got it fixed, Yeah!
Ive downloaded the zip file directly from the publisher, added to the correct folder, and it worked!
Thanks for the heads-up, could be why my fusion is running extremely slow now due to this update and add-ins not working properly.
Hello All,
I'd like to ask what to do when I see the following error message regarding fillgaps.
When I read email string, this problem has been solved.
But I still see this error message since many months.
I uninstall and install several times, even today, too.
Would you kindly help?
Hello Namoo,
Please install the newest version of Fill Gaps from the App Store.
Windows:
https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=1232847965088759508&appLang=en&os=Win64
Mac:
https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=1232847965088759508&os=Mac&appLang=en
The newest version works with the current Fusion version. The update to the newest version is free.
