With two preselected objects, open Inspect should show measurements between them

Two things about the Inspect/Measure tool.

When I Inspect an edge of a circle, or circular object (hole, cylinder), I should also see information about the radius or diameter. This is how it works in Inventor and Solidworks.

Also similar to Inventor, when I have two objects already selected, and then press Inspect (or shortcut I), I want the measurements between the objects. Instead, what Fusion does is to give me information of the last selected feature.

But on my second point, when something is already selected and then inspected, if I hold down Shift and select a second feature, it deselects the first. Essentially, to measure the distance between two objects you must have neither of the two objects pre-selected. If you do, you'll end up selecting it again.

I agree it should be ablemto toggle both radius and diameter. Same goes for the push pull command when changing the diamter of a hole.

Is the part in your picture imported or for some reason not a true circle because when I select an edge it gives me a lot more information.

@HughesTooling You're completely right, and I'm an idiot. My selection was not an actual circle! I can't seem to edit or delete the post....

 Don't worry about deleting the request your second point about preselection is a good one. If the request is marked as solution provided you might want to make another thread for the second idea.

Note in the future you should make only one request per ideastation request.

On the request itself - seems like a very sensible suggestion, I'll check with the team to make sure there are no technical hurdles to doing this.

Thank you for your idea, this has been changed to implemented.  As you can see in the images below we recently added the ability to show the distance of selected geometry, distance between selected geometry and angle between.  For your second question please create a new request for this additional idea.
