A business situation a Fusion user might tend to have parameters they use from design to design which have to be entered whenever they create a new design. Maybe countertop height, cabinet depth, plywood thickness, any standard parameter to that business.
I wass thinking that maybe those parameters could be entered at the user level and then copied when a new design is created, but probably not linked - the parameter could be changed within the design and it would only apply to that design. But once copied to a design a change at the user level would NOT propogate to designs that were created - that might be too much magic and it would be too dangerous to ever update or delete a parameter.
A possible use for this would be if I bought a batch of material I might change my user level parameter to the exact thickness of that batch, so that new designs would use that thickness until I finished that batch, but once those designs were done if I bought a new batch of material for new projects I could tweak that parameter for new designs, but previous ones would have to be updated manually if desired.
This idea would just speed up the intial setup of new designs.
