Update toolpath with new tool size information from library
Need a way to force library tool information to update tool paths. Let me explain:
I work on molds and like to have a computer next to VMC and post a tool path at the time, watch the results, adjust and repeat as necessary. I like to touch all my tools on the probe to get the exact diameters, then read these info to my computer (I wrote an app for that) and import it to fusion. I import it as a tool library JSON file. Then I would like to force this tool diameter information to update the tool paths.
It sounds like you would like to have an API for the tool library so that you could update a tool diameter, since the API already supports regenerating operations.
API would be great, for now i just import by hand and use the pop up dialog to update the existing tool paths. Lots of clicks as opposed to a streamlined workflow.
