Toggle visibility of parts of linked components

Toggle visibility of parts of linked components

Hi

For some reason it is not possible to toggle the visibility of linked components, e.g. to show sketches, origines, planes etc. The light bulbs do not work on linked components. This is a bit annoying, since you sometimes needs features to do the correct joins / alignments, but do not want do show these features when you have done the alignment.

Right now you have to change the visibility in the linked component save it, get latest version, do the join, re-edit the linked component, toggle visibility of e.g. origin, save and again get latest version.

It would be nice to be able to toggle the visibility, even if the visibility defaults back to the visibility of the saved linked components after saving and reloading your model.

This REALLY needs to happen. The lack of visibility control makes using linked components really unpleasant, and it makes no sense to have to open modify and save a file just to change visibility, which is a frequent need when working with large complex assemblies.
