The ability to open and edit SolidWorks 2d Drawings

The ability to open and edit SolidWorks 2d Drawings

I currently work for a large company and we are wanting to switch from SolidWorks to Fusion 360. Sadly though we are not able to do this because of one missing feature. We have decades of 2d drawings from Autocad and SolidWorks that do not have 3d models associated with them. We would not be able to edit any of these crucial drawings if we switched to Fusion. This is a feature that is holding a lot of older companies back from upgrading to Fusion.

You can import the files instead into autocad and edit them.

After that you can import those files from autocad to fusion360.

When we work on different interfaces we get some error which I came to know during my ansys course.

That's upto my knowledge.

@Anonymous I am still not able to edit the drawing in fusion, I can only view it on a360. Even if this worked it is still too much of a hassle. There should be a feature to convert it directly in fusion just like with a SolidWorks part or assembly which convert perfectly.

May be by some time they may bring that feature.
