The ability to name and add notes to features in the design history timeline.
I'm working on a complex parametric design for 3D printing, and as I'm tweaking the design for print it's almost impossible to find things in the timeline as its 280 features long.
If I could name / add notes to each timeline feature it would be very helpful.
Have you noticed you can rename features in the timeline? Also are you using components or do you only have one body with 280 features, if you are using components are you following Rule #1?
With well named components and named features you have quite good ability to describe what's going on. Not sure how long the name can be but did the test below with a named component and feature. With the component active the timeline is cut to only show that component.
Hi Mark. No I didn't know you can rename features. I'll give it a go tonight if I can figure out how to. I'm hoping it's not just a long click on the feature... doh!

Just right click feature and there's an option to rename. Another feature that can be useful is if you select a feature on the model and right click there are options to edit the feature and for features like extrude an option to edit the sketch it uses.
