I find myself spending significant time right clicking features in the timeline, looking for "Roll History Marker Here" entry*. I use this entry a lot and I was looking for a shortcut to make it much easier.
Pressing a shortcut is quite significantly simpler then right clicking and moving the mouse 5 entries up after you visually found the entry, especially if you use this command a lot, which i find myself doing.
* it's the 5th place of the context menu (I don't use supress often, and never used convert to DM feature, so for me personally it should be 3rd, if not first.
