Shell Elements for Analysis - Sheet Metal Finite Element Analysis
I love the NASTRAN solver and the Sheet Metal Capabilities of Fusion 360 but when is Autodesk going to introduce shell elements. When performing analysis on large sheet metal assemblies we have to use solid elements instead of shell elements which makes computation nearly impossible (elements < 1/3 material thickness). Often times I have to export the models to solidworks and perform the analysis there. Seems like a simple fix to make the program robust.
