2D drawing is a very important medium to Convey our requirement to the Machine shop and its critical to present the views of the part well with well distinguished lines and arcs, and hence its important for a drawing module to have all the necessary drafting tools and layers which can helps us improve the quality of representation of our engineering into the component through drawing.
i would request you to add in features like
Custom layering,
editable lines and arcs,
improved drawing and dimension tools
drafting tools.
options to rotate or align views in different manners
options to create drafting error to improve clarity in representation of drawings
auto dimension functionality
dimension retrieving functionality
I would love it if i can define all kinds of part tolerances in my 3D environment and linked dimensions between different parts like fits of bore and a hole, key and key-way only which can help me engineer my designs well without leaving the engineering constrains to be entered by the draftsmen.
This feature is something which will really increase an engineers productivity and hence leave very small margin for mistakes for people people involved in further process of drafting detailing etc,.
As i always say i am looking forward for the development of fusion 360 as an engineers tool.
