REALISTIC WELDS IN FUSION 360

REALISTIC WELDS IN FUSION 360

I am working on a project where in I have to analyze the weld strength. So I wanted to design a weld which I found difficult to develop using fusion 360 and the feature is nowhere found as of my research. I hope an additional feature for creating realistic weldments which gives the comparitive results with the conventional process when analyzed.

Thank you.

I agree, I'm also working on a design in which you need to calculate the strength of the welded parts. So it would be a useful feature.

Fusion is currently using welded signs so that you can tell your manufacturer where to weld and the parameters. As you want to model the welds automatically so that you can simulate your part, there is no such feature still now. (May be coming soon)

I suggest you create them manually.

Modeling weldments would be great.  Just getting weld symbols added to the drawing environment would be a huge step forward
