Product Packaging Folding

Often in the design of a consumer product is also working on the package.

The packages are designed to plan and then assemble them in 3D.

It would be interesting to have the possibility in Fusion 360 to start from a single surface and fold up along the right lines to get the right packaging.

All this would also facilitate the implementation of graphics and textures that would be on the surface. (not for every single face)

I like it a lot and this could (at least in principle) be integrated into the sheet metal design tools.

In fact, the two concepts are not far away. Follow the same logic, the differences are related to the materials used and their physical characteristics.
