If you have an "odd" network connection - like you are behind some oppressive firewall or bizarre proxy server - you can get into a catch-22, where there is "enough" of a network connection for Fusion 360 to believe you have a network connecton - but problems with the connection resulting in things like authentication errors.
In the case of an authentication error - Fusion 360 starts to launch, then gives you the Authentication Error forcing you to close. This means that you can't launch far enough to turn the option on to "Work Offline".
Some sort of launch option to force it to work offline would be nice.
I was a little worried about the whole (cloud-centric) aspect of this, but was starting to like it. All of the sudden, there's a tweak in firewall settings somewhere, and I can't do anything! 😮
