mirroring components

mirroring components

When mirroring components it would be nice if:

1) construction planes were not made visible in the newly created component (currently you have to go through the hierarchy of the component turning off such visibility).

2) if the component contains JOINTS then the mirrored component should surely contain joints too? Otherwise it's necessary to set about creating them manually;

On top of this, it would be very handy if Fusion could recognize when a mirrored component has identical geometry to the parent component, and not create a new component for such parts.

I most frequently want to use the mirror tool in the same way I would use the component pattern tool, but when I want a symmetric constraint kept about the mirror plain. Usually, the parts are the same (say, a shaft, for instance, where the mirrored geometry is no different from the parent). And in either mirroring or patterning components, I want the joints within those mirrored or patterned components to remain intact. This way I can switch out or edit a single part, and the mirrored or patterned parts will change in the same way, saving me lots of time.

Example:

In this screenshot, I had to make four copies of this snap ring and joint each one independently. What I would like to do is create and joint one (red), mirror it about the right plane (creating blue), and mirror those two about the top plain (creating yellow), and having them constrained to keep that symmetry about the mirror plane.
