With the new Drawing API i bet an add-in could be made to do this - well, I'm not sure they have text supported in the drawing API just yet, but soon...
It's more than just text and dimension support. It will need symbols and Inspect Views as well. With Inspect Views i mean a way to toggle to the correct view (like named views), with certain Inspection tools set (like section analysis) and certain dimensions visible. Alright, i admit this is an combination of the classic drawing system and the modern MDB drawing. But i feel like this will prevent someone from accidentally overlooking an important detail.
Now I feel a bit like a real looser here, but could somebody point out to me what "MDB" should mean? Having this info in the request would likely help to gather support as well, I could imagine. (Or is it so blaringly clear and just I'm an ignorant fool?)
