Link user parameters to excel spreadsheet

It would be great to have the ability to link user parameters to excel spreadsheet as it is in Autodesk Inventor. The design is then automatically changed as you change the "numbers" in the linked spreadsheet. Then you can utilize even more complex calculus since you have all the features/functions available in excel.
