Flip environment once a user orbits below the ground plane

I would like to see a core function in rendering and modeling that automatically flips the enviroment once a user orbits below the ground plane - making the underside of the part lighted via the enviroment eliminating the need to rotate all bodies/components 180 degrees to get acurately lighted renderings of the underside of parts.
