Dynamic section views for surface combs

Fusion can only show the comb on a surface edge but not inside / on a surface.

In Alias I just use the dynamic comb tool and can adjust orientation amount and spacing

of curvature combs.

Inventor has it so I think Fusion should get a surface comb tool as well.

currently to see the curvature comb on a surface you have two options:

1. select an available edge - this one hardly runs through a surface thus is not usable

2. slice the object via the split command - this will allow only one section, this requires a construction plane or a cPlane driven by a sketch first and thus adds commands in the timeline

3. project lines onto a surface - this will require a sketch with the lines and a new sketch with the projected curves

all three are not really ideal fast and flexible.

Alias has a dynamic section tool that can be used to show the comb across selected faces.

with moving the tool rotating and adjusting the amount of combs and their distance you can evaluate the surface perfectly

Alias and Solidworks both can also just project a user defined amount of combs on selected surfaces as well like in the photo bellow
