Circular pattern sketch in 3D

It would be great to be able to make (3D) circulair patterns out of a sketch.

So the pattern  result wouldn't be on the workinplane, but in 3D.

Mark Hughes from Hughes Tooling was kind enough to give me a work around, copy/paste and then rotate the sketch.

But a 3D pattern for the sketch would be great for complex operations.

I can only get this with the pattern tool.
