Cannot Edit Sketch Imported from DWG

Cannot Edit Sketch Imported from DWG

I have a sketch that I imported from a dwg.  There are parts of the sketch that I am unable to delete until I physically move them.  They are visible when I go to edit the sketch, but selecting them does not allow me to delete them.  However, if I move them, I am able to delete them afterward.

I have attached screen shots.

The dwg was downloaded from McMaser-Carr--part number 47065T103 (link below).

I have attempted to import the dxf rather than the dwg, but the result is the same.

The attached screen shots show before I press delete and after, showing that only the portions of the sketch that I have modified are deleted.

Also, where is the timeline?  It does not appear after an import has been completed (even after I extrude the sketch).

It appears that it is a zoom issue; if I zoom in enough, I can delete the lines (hence why stretching them allowed me to delete them).

I am not certain why this is the case...
