CAM bug select axis on round objects

CAM bug select axis on round objects

When you have a round object in CAM and you want to select axis for example setting the Z axis if you click on the cylinder as a refrence the z axis should align axially with the cylinder. Instead it goes like perpindicular or something screwy making it impossible to set axes on objects that don't have straight edges. Instead I need to create sketches to represent my machining axes. This is very inconvenient and if the axes don't line up with global it can be a huge pain in the ****.

Sorry I didnt reply here as well yesterday. I replyied the below in the Computer Aided Machining (CAM) area

The best place to ask for help is in the Computer Aided Machining (CAM) area or camforum.autodesk.com or email cam.support@autodesk.com

I have submitted this issue on ticket CAM-2024. In the meantime a somewhat simple work around is to create an axis using the cylinder and select that.
