Browser not fit for Purpose

Browser not fit for Purpose

HI

After completing my first project and learning Fusion, I have come to the realisation that the current implementation of the browser is not fit for purpose and needs to be radically overhauled.

If the number of items exceeds the screens size the constant scrolling up and down is a right royal PITA, The constant expanding and contracting of items is not productive especially if there is only one object at the bottom of the list. The way items are highlighted is hard to see and causes eye strain after using fusion actively for a while, those silly breadcrumbs needs to be removed and a full coloured block change should be adopted.

Why does the root component of the tree and other fixed items - Document Views, Analysis, Named Views etc scroll with the user created items. Keep them fixed and allow the others move below.

Make the browser slider on the side much bigger.

If there is one item eg one body, one sketch etc make it the top of the section not buried down under a heading. If there are multiple bodies or sketches etc then yes of course it makes senses to have the tiered under a main heading.

Thinking about workflow and clicking on objects in the main design window, the way the corresponding component in the browser is highlighted could be  much more prominent.

Intelligent hiding, expansion and contracting of browser objects could be implemented.

In short, whilst I can live with 'niggles' elsewhere in the software's GUI, the way the browser operates can make using fusion difficult and tedious for anything other than very smallest of projects

Thanks

Matt
