When adding a thread to a length of round stock the current methodology reduces the diameter of the entire length of the stock to that of the specified thread outside diameter, instead of just the length that is threaded. This is illogical and may well go un-noticed, leading to an expensive manufacturing error when the unthreaded length of stock is required to maintain the specified stock diameter.
The work-around is to create the thread on a seperate cylindrical body and then add it to the remaining stock length. I would anticipate that this should be an easy fix as the user already specifies the length to be threaded.
