The parameters feature is one I really love and use frequently. It adds a lot of power to designing and being able to set estimates for values then come back and change them easily further in the design process.
Having the parameter names autofill in the dimensions box would be a great bonus; it's not always easy to remember the names.
And of course typing in «parameter_name=value» should just autocreate parameter_name and set it to value so you don't have to find the hidden sheet of user defined parameters or set them before you need them.
I think the term would be "predictive text" [for the dimension boxes when you start typing letters].
I too would like some added functions wrt parameters. There are a few suggestion threads related to this although with slightly different wording. They all suggest some better ways of creating and remembering parameters. I've reverted to screenshots a couple times but that's really pretty crazy for a program like this.
An alternative would be to have the Parameters window non modal. If you could at least reference the list in a detached window it would be a start. I have to write them down on a piece of paper. I'd be slaughtered if my UI required a paper and pencil.
This is such a huge bonus to an efficent workflow.
To make it more manageable for a project with a lot of parameters would be to confine the intellisense feature to only look at favorites or user generated.
And to add on further... a peek view of the expression/value/comment would help too.
