Active unit popup menu, move to left side of screen

I often create my designs in metric, and switch to imperial when I setup for machining. I like to model my stock and insert my fixtures. All of my fixtures are in inches. So I switch units fairly often, and its always baffled me as to why the popup box shows up on the complete other side of my screen when I go to switch.

Can we finally move the popup box for active units?
