Hi @max_medinaga,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I've checked your account, and I can see you're verified into 2025 with AutoCAD and Robot Structural Analysis licenses - so you should be set for the year ahead. Instead, I recommend that you reset the licensing service on your computer to force the software to look for the new license rather than your old one. You can find the instructions on how to do this by clicking here.

Hi,

I've followed the instructions and also contacted one of the school's IT specialists, but the problem persists. It seems that I don’t have an active license, as shown in the screenshot.

Thank you for your time. I hope the issue can be resolved soon.

Hi @max_medinaga,

Can you try downloading AutoCAD and Robot Structural Analysis from the Education product page again? You don't need to reinstall but this should assign a new license to your account.

I tried to fix it, but it didn’t work. I also downloaded the reset login zip, but that didn’t work either. I uninstalled all the AutoCAD versions I had (2022, 2024, 2025 in English and 2025 in French) and reinstalled AutoCAD 2025 in English, but it still didn’t work

I have the same problem. Today, my educational license expired, but I have succesfully renewed it for another year. I have received a mail saying that. The problem is that I still have a message at Autocad program saying that my license expired. It seems to be that I can't renew the access. I've even downloaded a new version in order to renew the access, but the problem persists.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you.

Hi @bryandradepaz,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I've just checked your account and whilst I can see your access has been extended into 2025, the product licenses have not been extended. Can you try downloading from the Education product page again? This should prompt a fresh license to be assigned to you, and you shouldn't need to reinstall as this is only a license update.

I hope this helps,

I've already tried that but I still don't have my license extended. There persists a message in the program interface that says that my license expired.

Can I do something else?

Thanks.

Hello, I am currently facing the same issue. I did not renew my Autocad student license within the 30day period. Later, I resubmitted my documents and successfully renewed my student access. However Autocad still recognizes my expired license and keeps showing the same error every time I open it. This issue does not occur in Revit. My new license appears correctly there.

Have you managed to solve this problem?

Thanks
