can we add the ability to have pipe network attenuation storage in the software?

Hi - Can you write this up as an Idea with more details on the requirements? That'll let us get broader feedback from the overall community on the requirements and priority. 

Today there is the ability to use oversized pipes in SSA and calculate storage. I poked around a bit on the C3D forum and found a few topics that are worth looking at that'll help you get started.

I will add this as an idea.

The oversized pipe is limited, if we did a square culvert this could be a work around, however this is limited by the fact its not an easy option to change the x, y and z dimensions of it.
