+1 this will help a lots.... being able to show piping insulation is a basic functionality that every piping software should have, I don't understand how this is still on hold
I can't believe that insulation can't be shown in ortho views!! This is an important part of design and construct ability. Once again I'm dumb founded that this piping design program is missing more features....Please get this feature added asap!
I think these features ( show insulation, insulation spec., support catalog, support detail drawing, material take off for support) should be included asap.
I also cannot believe that this is not a feature for Ortho drawings in Plant 3D. This is a fundamental requirement for piping layouts & orthos in all industries that have piping. Seems ridiculous that Autodesk feels that it is ok to require all users to manually add insulation to orthos
Especially in section views this truly is something that is a fundamental part of a piping ortho drawing. The tools should be advanced enough (similar way maybe to the pipe break tool) to be able to show and hide insulation as needed when regenerating the drawing.
