1A) Please a NEW KML/KMZ FDO driver ! - (with attributes/object datas)

or if not possible

1A1) KML/KMZ format with MAPIMPORT/MAPEXPORT (with attributes/object datas)

2) Please in the past (ACAD 2008-2012), we had a KML/KMZ plugin (Labs) to generate 2D/3D KML/KMZ graphic !

Why you can't recompile it for MAP 2015/2016/2017 ???

I am always using it with my good old MAP 2012 or MAP 2011 ...

I think that it would also be good to add support for GeoJSON (and TopoJSON) files through a new FDO driver. This would also benefit AIMS since those JSON formats are gaining adoption in the webgis arena.

I think this is an excellent suggestion George. In order to raise its profile somewhat, you should add this as a separate post rather than tagged on as a comment.

It is a great idea! What is the complete workflow when you import KML data?

Do you want to import it, edit, stylize and then export back to KML?

We finished a plug-in for Map3D that solve export to KML requirement. The application is very powerful and can export AutoCAD objects and any kind of FDO, powerful styling, zoom level, labe from block attributes or values from FDO fields, combine coordinate system, spatial filter.

For kml Description is possible to set complex structure, like dynamic generated html page from a service (for example: REST services), or simple html page.
