Ho to delete a few layouts all at one time?

When you have a large drawing with a lot of layouts, you sometimes want to break these layouts into a new drawing with only one or two layouts.  You save the large drawing with all these layouts into a renamed new drawing.

Then we end up with the new drawings that we want to downsize but it has a lot of layouts that you want to delete since you would not use them in the new drawing.

I delete these one by one individullay, which takes a while if you have a lot of layouts.

Is there a way to delete all the layouts all at once except the one or two that you want to keep?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

>> I delete these one by one individullay

You can do that with <SHIFT> or <CTRL> to select multiple layouts and then press <DEL> to delete them.

Same way to select as you do with multiple files in your Windows Explorer.

This is not a mac-focused forum @emily_adamsH7GQX , try asking in the correct forum for your variant, here is the link:

Hi @octavio2 ,

On Mac you can use QUICKVIEW command to display a list of all open drawings, and the layouts contained in the current drawing.

Then you can select multiple Layouts you need to delete using standard selection methods (Command key for individual selection Shift key for selecting a range), right-click and select Delete from the context menu:
