Hello A360 members,

Here is a quick tip on how to enable Project Contributors in a project.

From A360 go to the Project.

Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the project.

Enable Project Contributor 001a.jpg

Now click on the Gear Icon to see the Project Settings.

TIP: You can also change the type of project here.

Enable Project Contributor 002a.jpg

Now slide the button until it turns green and enables "Allow Project Contributors"

Enable Project Contributor 003a.jpg

Save your settings and you have now enabled Project Contributors in your Project.

Hi Jason,

Can you share a screen shot of what you are seeing? Also are you the owner of the project?

Thanks

Hi Jason,

thanks for for the update.  If you don't see the gear op icon, then you have the free personal hub.  Can you share with us why you are trying to Chang the project type?

Also if you look under your profile icon in the upper right hand corner, you will see a list of hubs you are a part of.

Hope this help.

I'm in the same boat as Jason, no gear icon. I assume my A360 account is set to the free personal hub. How do I get access to the team hub? I'm the administrator of autodesk subscription for our company, but haven't seen any emails concerning how to take advantage of these new features. I'm having to do all the discovery, like what I see and would like to experiment, please advise.

Hi Seth,

Yes, if you have a Free Personal hub, you'll want to create a 30 day free trial to see the Gear for editing project type in the above as a first step.

So, to start with A360 Team, go to (a360.autodesk.com) where you'll be able to

  • Create a free 30 day trial under the pricing page (if you don't already have one)
  • See all the other linked resources that are available. I.e. the Blog, our Community, available Help content, and how to connect with us in the Forums.

A couple of links that I typically recommend right to start with are the below, (that are right here in the Tips and Tricks forum page), so please let us know if you have further questions after you get started.

Have a great day 🙂

Thanks,
