Here is a quick, very cool tip on how to embed an A360 drawing or model using HTLM.
For this example, we are going to use an existing A360 model to show how to get the details for embedding a model.
Sign into your A360 Hub that has the model you want to share or embed. Now let’s find the model you want to share or embed. In my case, I’m going to go to my Tips and Tricks Project and click on the share icon for the Fusion 360 rc car model.
TIP: use a single click to open up the model in the A360 viewer:
Once the model is open, we can get the click on the Share dropdown.
This brings up a dialog that allows you to share a link, use eMAIL allow download and even password protect the file. By default this will come up for sharing the link to someone else. Just click on the “Embedded” button to toggle to creating the embedded view.
By default this will be set to 640 X 480. Be sure to test what size you want the embed drawing to be in your WEB Site. Note that you can preview it to get an idea of how large or small it will look. Copy the code from A360 into your favorite html editor and you are set.
Now open your favorite html editor and paste the code there. Save it and load up the html page and notice you can now see your A360 drawing or model in a browser. In this tip, I’m going to embed this into the A360 forum post.
And as a bonus, I'm going to embed the file in this post using HTML.
