Hello,

Today we released a feature that enables Share-Embed functionality. Most of the users who used the previous A360 version may be familar with this feature, it gives you the ability to embed the design viewer into your HTML content.

You can access this via the Share icon as shown below

In the Share dialog, choose the Embed tab. Pick a size, copy the iframe snippet and you are all set.

Embed the viewer into your web site or blog.

Hi Leon,

Thanks for sending in your feedback to the A360 Team.  I just tested this and it is working for me. Can you tell us what you are using to create the embeded file?    For example, I am using A360 Team.

Thanks and let us know more details on this.

Thanks Leon,

Can you share a screen shot of your page along with the link that shows the file? That should give me a better idea of what you are seeing. Also what type of file is this you are trying to embed?

Thanks again for the updates.

I'm using Firefox right now and I use Safari on my MacBook Pro all the time and it works there for me as well. Are you maybe running a third party plugin for these two browsers that may be blocking this from loading? That would be the first place to start.

Thanks again for the updates and let us know how this goes.

No there are no plugins, the player loads, but the item doesn't

it seems that if i go to the autodesk site, there is a cooky set. When i open than the embedded code, it runs..

We use this for training purposes, strange that it has to have the cookie placed in safari before trusted load.

Thanks for the update. So if you allow third party cookies it's working for you?    Take a look at this Tips and Tricks post on how to enable third party cookies.

Do these links ever expire?  I was using A360 viewer to embed the file link into our website but the links A360 viewer give you expire after 30 days.  If I use this instead are there any limitations as far as how many files I can upload and share?

Thank you,

Jessica

Thank you for the quick reply.  I noticed with A360 viewer, users can click on the 'Measure' tool. This was a great feature.  But when I upload this file to my hub, i get markup tools instead of Measure.  Is measurement not an option here?

Hi Jessica,

Measure is only supported with 2D drawing files like DWG, RVT, DWF. It also works with Fusion 3D files. We are looking at adding other file types in the future, but for now this is what is available.

What type of file are you uploading?

Hope this helps and have a great day.

I've uploaded STEP files to both A360 Viewer where I get the Measure tool, and A360 hub where I get the Markup tools instead of Measure. Please see the screenshots below which show this.

Thank you,

Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the screenshots. The FREE Online viewer is able to test out new features before they make it into the main products, so you will see some differences between FREE and the other A360 based products. Note that sometimes these items will go away as well, based on how they are received and are working.

Hope this helps explain the difference and have a great day.

Hi, I'm using the embed feature to add the 360 views to our website. I'm still under the trial period but want to buy Fusion if I can get this to work. I'm finding most of the time they do not load. I get this loading screen below, but the rendering never loads. I have to refresh the page a few times before it loads. I saved this test page on our website to show you an example: http://www.emicorp.com/about-us-new.php

[cid:image002.png@01D298B0.1844E500]

Other times, it loads this:
(and when you scroll down, you see the rendered part)

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for posting your question, can you also try adding your images again, I don't see them?

Also what did you create these files in? And if you use the Public share for the same file, do you see the same issues?

Thanks in advance for getting us these details.
