This is a challenge for students to take part in.
Welcome to Student Group Hub’s first challenge, where you are tasked with designing the worst water bottle possible.
It is a sunny day, and you are relaxing on the Student Group Hub beach. You have been for a swim and eaten your lunch and are now feeling thirsty. Unfortunately, when packing for your trip, the only bottle you could find was the worst water bottle you had ever seen, one that had been given to you as a prank because it was so awful.
In this challenge, you are tasked with designing that water bottle (the one that you took on your trip). Design a bottle in such a way that makes taking a sip awkward at best or almost impossible at the worst. How about dispensing a drop of water when you open the bottle or having it spray out all at once? What about making your bottle challenging to carry around? Which bottle wouldn’t you want to drink from whilst feeling thirsty? These are just some suggestions but be as creative as possible to make your bottle as bad as possible.
Ultimately, this is a water bottle, so while putting a bunch of holes at the bottom makes for a terrible bottle, we still want something that can carry water and is possible to drink from – even if it is not a fun experience!
