VRED 2017 IS A GPU RENDER?

Hi!

I want try to use Vred dem 2017 for my render job by trial mode.

Only one question after I buy the license.

My pc spec is the next:

 980 GTX NVIDIA IN SLI - 850 power supply, 16 gb ram, intel I7 2600 K

Vred 2017 use at 100% this gpu power?

Is a Gpu render or not? and if yes, how enable ( step by step please) this GPU options.

I'm confused about it.

Thanks in advance.

OpenGL rendering in VRED is GPU but raytracing rendering in VRED is purely CPU so it will not use the GPUs at all except for some tonemapping stuff. So to accelerate the raytracing rendering you will need more CPU Cores.

Kind regards

Michael
