Opening VRED in different version.

Hello,

I'm running into a problem when opening up a VRED project file (.vpb) on a different version of VRED.

I have created a project in VRED Pro 2020.3 and everything functions as intended.

However, when I attempt to open the project in VRED Design 2018.4, the parts of my mesh are translated out of place or stacked on top of each other.

Typically I would just fix the issues but there are too many small parts that are moved out of place. We do not have Pro installed on every computer so I'm stuck using Design when presenting. Is there anything I can do to preserve everything in my Pro version so it opens up identically in the Design version?

Appreciate any help, thank you.

We don´t support loading files in older versions. Loading a file from a newer version into an older version will most likely loose information or might be completely broken.

You can open a VRED Pro file in VRED Design in the same or newer version.
