memory error VRED 2026

Hello, i'm having the following error while using my Vred:

"An Application has requested more GPU memory than is available in the system.
The Application will now be closed.
Error code: 6"

i've read that the 2022 version have a option named "Clear GPU Memory" for this kind of error, but i couldn't find it in the 2026 version

my specs:

I7 12th Gen

16GB DDR5 4800Mhz

NVIDIA T1000

The Clear GPU Memory can be found in the Preferences > Rendering > Render Window > Advanced Rendering Tab

Quick Tip: You can simply type in the search bar at the bottom of the Preferences dialog and it will guide you there 😉
