Good day all
I am running into an issue with materials getting lost when Importing a FBX file. My workflow is as shown below
- The design originates in Autodesk Inventor with materials added.
- The design is then imported to 3ds Max 2018
- Animations are added and Materials edited / assigned
- A FBX file is exported using the Game Exporter option
- The FBX file is then imported into VRed 2018
What I then see in VRed is a gold coloured model that seems to have lost all the materials, see image.
Is there a setting in either 3ds Max or VRed that has to be enabled to bring the materials through from a FBX?
Is there a better workflow to get an Inventor model into VRed with animations and materials?
